Is a gap year right for you?
There are as many different reasons for taking a gap year as there are people taking gap years.

What will you be doing?
Our Gap Network program arranges you with a job in a UK boarding school (including board, meals and a small wage) in return for a friendly and enthusiastic attitude and a willingness to work hard.
We pride ourselves on our face-to-face interview process, which enables us to offer you a place in the school that provides the best match for your talents and interests.
You will be working alongside friendly local staff in boarding schools in either England, Scotland or Wales. Depending on your interests and your placement, your roles may include:
- Coaching sport
- Boarding house supervision
- Tutoring students
- Working as a classroom assistant
- Art and craft activities
- Supervising transport of students, including escorting students to London
- Assisting with music and drama
- Running outdoor activities
- Accompanying students and teachers on school excursions
