IMPORTANT UPDATE
Gap 2025: As of 30 April 2024, The Gap Network is no longer accepting “Expressions of Interest” (EOIs) for January 2025.
Please do not submit an EOI without emailing for individual advice first at info@thegapnetwork.org All correspondence by email only.
Applicants for 2025 are now being accepted in specific categories only. While it is very late in the application season for next January, we do coordinate some late-notice placements for young people every year.
To allow us to best advise you, please supply a short email ASAP providing the following information:
- Full Name
- Full Date of birth
- Current place of residence (Country/Town)
- Nationality of passport for intended travel
- Current circumstances (eg Final Year School Student, University
- Undergraduate or Further Education Student, Graduate, Working (Full or P/T).
NOTE: If you are a late notice candidate interested in starting overseas before the end of 2024, you are also welcome to email and provide the same information as above. Advice will be given according to your own specific requirements and circumstances.
Gap Year 2026 (including Current Year 11s): Website expressions of interest for January 2026 will commence in October 2024. The Gap Network is always heavily subscribed by high school students and we do recommend an application as soon as possible after entry into Year 12.
